Ana John’s set is synonymous with avant-garde. A pianist and percussionist, she grew up listening to classical music, jazz, and big bands. Musically, her influences come from Bossa Nova, Disco, Soulful, R&B, and House Music. She is recognized for her charisma and refined musical taste. Ethnicity and Brazilian identity are at the core of her DNA, bringing to her sets elements of samba, bossa nova, indigenous, and African music.
She entered music production through fashion, creating soundtracks for contests and shows by Dolce & Gabbana, Joe Boxer, FAAP Modas, Samuel Cirnansck, Adidas, Calvin Klein, and soon produced her first single for Poko Pano, released in November 2019 by Warner Music.
From 2010 to 2020, she was one of the leading DJs in São Paulo’s corporate and luxury markets, having performed and produced soundtracks for brands such as Rede, Itaú, Bradesco, Google, Unilever, P&G, Sadia, Samsung, Bradesco, Nokia, LG, Audi, Kia Motors, Chevrolet, Mastercard, Nestlé, Oracle, Cielo, among others. She has performed alongside artists like Ivete Sangalo, Preta Gil, Lulu Santos, Ivan Lins, Caetano Veloso, Maria Gadú, Paralamas do Sucesso, Titãs, Jota Quest, Skank, and DJs such as Alex Gaudino, Paula Chalup, Milton Chuquer, Roger Weeks, Leo Ruas, Acácio Moura, and Ingrid.
Internationally, she has performed in Miami, New York, Cancun, Punta Del Este, Lisbon, Berlin, and Rome
